Our raid schedule will return to a Tuesday, Thursday, Monday schedule in order to facilitate progression. Community nights will be built in on an off night, currently scheduled for Saturdays. We understand that this means an additional night for those who want to participate in community nights, but, as always, they are optional and you may pick and choose the activities that interest you. A suggestion form for activities is coming soon!
Our M+ requirement is changing! Instead of requiring a flat level throughout the tier, we will implement a sliding scale of M+. In order to be progression eligible, you will be required to complete one M+ that awards loot equal to the loot that drops in our current progression raid. This will be updated weekly in the raid channel and you’re always welcome to reach out to a member of leadership for clarification on this throughout the tier.
In a big difference from previous tiers, we have set some goals for the tier. Savant and Tooru looked through previous logs and analyzed the data for our kills. Based on this, we have developed a timeline for our raid goals. This is flexible and the dates on each could change based on our own performance and other outside factors (such as holidays).
Raid goals timeline:
Raid release 12/12/22
First AOTC kill by 2/13/23 (average AOTC from previous 3 raids, excepting season 4, is 56 days)
First mythic pull by 1/17/23 (average first mythic pull from previous 3 tiers is 29 days)
First mythic kill by 1/30/22 (average first mythic kill from previous 3 tiers is 42 days)
Take a look at the professions document created by Mire and Tooru – if you have been assigned a specialty within your profession, please make sure that you’re making efforts to maximize your skill in that area quickly. This is a team effort – what one does is benefitting the whole, so lets support each other in our endeavors with professions this tier.
Please let us know your holiday schedules asap (Dec. 20, 22, 26, 27, 29, Jan. 2), especially if you know you will be out for all or some of these days, so that we may plan accordingly. Use the #late channel to do so, so that we have schedules compiled in a single location!
LAST AND PROBABLY MOST IMPORTANT TO A LOT OF YOU: In an effort to streamline loot and still provide some structure in the way loot is distributed, we will continue to use RC Loot Council. When loot drops, all raiders will pass on all items. Weapons, trinkets, and off-hands/shields will be distributed by leadership, with priority based on your BiS item survey. All other loot will be distributed using rolls in RC Loot Council and may be subject to evaluation by leadership. Please take a few minutes to fill out the BiS item survey (https://forms.gle/MijvFPzMPvrkEiwa9) prior to our first heroic raid. You will have priority on items that you select on this survey. Moving forward through the tier, if your BiS items change, simply reach out to a leadership member with the reasoning for the change and we will update your selections.
